Dryer Vent Cleaning

The Most Effective Process For Dryer Vent Cleaning

You might wonder whether or not it’s really necessary to have your dryer vent cleaned, especially since you regularly clean out your lint trap. Isn’t that enough? Unfortunately, cleaning out the highly flammable lint from your dryer’s lint trap is not enough. Your dryer vent should actually be cleaned out once a year. Lowe’s Air Duct Cleaning helps our customers prevent fires in their homes as well as extend the life of their dryers with our dryer vent cleaning service, so let’s take a look at our cleaning process.

The Source Removal Process

Our dryer duct cleaning service is quite different from our air duct cleaning service due to the sticky nature of lint inside dryer ducts, and it requires a greater agitation to be removed than the dust inside of air ducts. We must first insert a 6.6-hp vacuum into one end of the vent, and then insert a drill-powered brush into the opposite end of the vent. We have the capacity to go as far as 40 feet into the vent. At Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning, we provide our customers with before and after pictures and guarantee to remove all of the lint.

Standards of Cleaning

Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning follows the excellent standards of the National Air Duct Cleaners Association. NADCA has been setting the bar in professional standards for source removal of contaminants for dryer vents since 1989. You can rest assured that when we clean your dryer vent, we are following the highest standards of quality and care. In fact, if we don't remove all of the lint from your dryer, the service is free!
